Mechanical Engineer (Energy Infrastructure): Leading mechanical design activities and supporting EPC project delivery for gas engine power stations and combined heat and power systems with an accent on technical documentation, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Focus on coordinating multidisciplinary engineering resources, solving complex infrastructure challenges, and mentoring mechanical engineers and draftspersons.
Location: Thebarton, Australia. Applicants must have valid working rights in Australia and complete a pre-employment medical assessment and national police check.

What you will do
- Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering and drafting resources across multiple EPC projects.
- Prepare and review mechanical designs, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Support tender development through design input, estimating, and technical evaluations.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Manage procurement of mechanical equipment and materials, and support construction, commissioning, and testing.
- Drive continuous improvement and mentor engineering and drafting personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering qualification.
- Experience delivering mechanical engineering solutions in EPC, industrial, or energy infrastructure environments.
- Ability to coordinate projects and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, procurement, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, organisational, and project management skills.
- Valid working rights in Australia required.
