Merchandising and Promotion Manager (Luxury Cosmetics)

Location: Shanghai, China; frequent travel to Hainan Travel Retail stores, approximately once per month.

What you will do

• Drive in-store retail excellence and improve retail performance across Hainan Travel Retail.
• Review and manage visual designs for in-store events, pop-ups, thematic promotions, permanent counters, refurbishments, and new openings.
• Plan and lead the Hainan visual merchandising calendar, campaign execution, and performance tracking.
• Coordinate the Hainan Commercial team, China Merchandising team, retailers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor installations and field execution, provide feedback, and implement improvements.
• Manage project budgets and resolve visual merchandising and promotion execution issues.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of visual merchandising experience with luxury cosmetic brands.
• Soft visual merchandising experience is required; multi-category and Travel Retail experience is advantageous.
• Fluent Mandarin and good English reading and writing skills.
• Strong communication, teamwork, project management, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work across fragrance, makeup, and skincare categories.
• Ability to travel to Hainan approximately once per month.
