Software Engineer Technical Lead (Azure)

Location: Ayala, Makati City, Philippines; hybrid work model with remote work from home several days a week

What you will do

• Define technical roadmaps, architectures, technology stacks, and engineering standards for assigned digital products.
• Lead technical delivery teams in executing Agile work on time, within budget, and in line with IT standards.
• Design and review architectures for new features and products, ensuring scalability and alignment with product strategies.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement reliability, resiliency, and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, platform teams, vendors, and IT Operations to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members while overseeing quality assurance, testing, operations, and resource planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a technical lead or similar role, with demonstrated technical team leadership.
• Development experience with technologies such as .NET/C#, Python, Node, or Angular.
• Hands-on experience with IT applications or systems such as ServiceNow or Workday, plus proficiency with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and Windows Server environments, as well as solution performance, cybersecurity, IT compliance, modernization, outsourcing, and Agile delivery.
• Willingness to work day shift and mid shift in the Philippines.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree, certifications, or specialized training in relevant areas.
• Experience with Azure cloud computing, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, and data analytics.
