Lead, Observability Architecture & Engineering (Observability and Cloud Engineering): Defining vendor-neutral observability architecture, telemetry standards, instrumentation, integrations, and automation strategy with an accent on metrics, logs, traces, synthetics, RUM, service maps, APIs, and cloud-native platforms. Focus on designing resilient and supportable architectures, reducing telemetry gaps, modernizing enterprise platforms, and improving onboarding repeatability through automation.

What you will do
- Define vendor-neutral reference architecture and engineering standards for observability.
- Lead telemetry, platform, integration, and automation strategy.
- Guide modernization, platform rationalization, and adoption decisions.
- Review complex designs for resilience, security, cost, and supportability.
- Publish and drive adoption of reference architectures and standards.
- Improve telemetry coverage and onboarding repeatability through automation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in observability, platform engineering, SRE, cloud, or systems engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in architecture or technical leadership.
- Experience with metrics, logs, traces, synthetics, RUM, service maps, APIs, and automation.
- Enterprise-principal proficiency, including reusable architecture definition, complex cross-platform decision-making, and engineering capability development.
Nice to have
- OpenTelemetry, cloud-native, Kubernetes, or distributed-systems experience.
- Large-enterprise modernization or migration experience.
- Cloud, SRE, or architecture certification.
