Business Intelligence Analyst II - Finance/Pricing

What you will do

• Profile, investigate, and analyze moderately complex datasets to identify trends, business drivers, and appropriate data sources.
• Use SQL to extract, transform, and analyze large enterprise datasets for reports, dashboards, pricing models, and analytical datasets.
• Support pricing and financial analysis for Leave, ASO, STD, and ADA absence products using customer and prospect data.
• Perform statistical and quantitative analysis, summarize findings, and present recommendations to business partners, underwriting, leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with data engineers on data validation, testing, quality assurance, and continuous improvement; mentor junior analysts when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Four or more years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, pricing analytics, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying, extracting, and analyzing data from enterprise data environments.
• Understanding of data profiling, statistical analysis, reporting, and analytical problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions and technical findings into clear business recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, prioritization, critical-thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar business intelligence and visualization tools.
• Experience in pricing, finance, insurance, underwriting support, or related analytical functions.
