Manager, HR & Payroll (HRIS)

Location: Remote within Florida, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Texas

What you will do

• Own end-to-end payroll processing, payroll calehirify.globalrs, tax filings, garnishments, off-cycle runs, audits, and discrepancy resolution.
• Administer and maintain HRIS and payroll platforms, including workflows, permissions, data integrity, and system integrations.
• Lead client implementations of payroll and HCM systems, module rollouts, upgrades, implementation workshops, and change management.
• Build automated HR workflows and translate client process requirements into system design.
• Maintain HR data, reporting, dashboards, and audit readiness to support workforce planning and OKRs.
• Optimize core HR processes, including onboarding, employee relations, policy development, and employment-law compliance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience running payroll and administering HRIS/HCM systems.
• HR Generalist or HRBP background with broad employee lifecycle experience.
• Experience working directly with clients in consulting, professional services, PEOs, or agencies.
• Hands-on administration experience with a core HRIS and payroll platform such as HiBob, Dayforce, or Rippling.
• Deep knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance, tax, and wage-and-hour requirements.
• Strong systems thinking, integration troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and advisory skills.
