Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Maintain and support Azure-based production, staging, testing, and development infrastructure with monitoring, alerts, and documentation.
• Architect and operate modern web, microservices, containerized, and cloud-native distributed systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and optimize Azure CI/CD workflows, infrastructure provisioning, and application deployment automation.
• Configure Azure resources including virtual networks, virtual machines, SQL servers, Web Apps, storage, caching, monitoring, and security services.
• Migrate and archive on-premises VMware and Hyper-V workloads to Azure through virtual networks and VPN connectivity.
• Manage IAM, permissions, operating system images, updates, employee onboarding and offboarding, security controls, and compliance activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps experience and 5+ years in a technical role such as software development, architecture, IT, or engineering.
• Expert knowledge of Azure Cloud Technologies and complete Azure administration, including subscriptions, resource groups, virtual networks, Azure SQL, Entra ID, Key Vault, metrics, and logs.
• Proficient to expert experience with Azure DevOps, Git, YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, and Ansible playbooks.
• Experience securing, managing, monitoring, and designing highly available and scalable Azure environments.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, Agile and Waterfall practices, DevOps platforms, and blue-green deployment.
• Strong on-premises infrastructure knowledge, including VMware, Hyper-V, VPN, networking, and workload migration to Azure; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Nice to have

• Azure DevOps certification.
• Programming experience with C#, VB.NET, Angular, HTML, or CSS.
• G-Suite experience.
