Spanish Language Manager

Location: London, UK; hybrid until September with four office days per week, then fully onsite from September

A global social media company developing and distributing marketing, product, advertising, and business content across international markets.

What you will do

• Translate, transcreate, edit, and proofread Spanish content across marketing, product, advertising, and legal materials.
• Review and quality-check translations delivered by external language service providers.
• Define and maintain Spanish style guides, terminology databases, and other linguistic assets.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and training to external translators.
• Manage queries and communication with language service providers.
• Lead language quality improvement initiatives and align content standards with marketing, product, and sales teams.

Requirements

• Native Spanish speaker with strong cultural understanding.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• 5+ years of experience in localization, translation, copy editing, or content-related roles.
• Strong experience in translation quality management and linguistic review.
• Experience with UI localization and digital content environments.
• Experience using CAT tools such as XTM, Smartcat, SDL Trados, or WorldServer, plus strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience creating and maintaining linguistic assets, including style guides and terminology.
• Understanding of localization workflows and processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional or international teams.
