What you will do

• Own end-to-end French-market localization for website copy, Amazon listings, paid advertisements, and campaign materials.
• Adapt global marketing briefs into culturally resonant, conversion-focused French copy rather than literal translations.
• Build and maintain the canonical French-market terminology and product-description database.
• Plan and produce French-language SEO articles, landing pages, and product descriptions using an editorial calendar and competitor benchmarks.
• Collaborate with global marketing, design, and paid media teams to manage briefs, identify localization risks, and deliver concurrent workstreams on schedule.
• Use AI drafting and translation tools, then apply editorial judgment and track revision cycles to improve quality and turnaround time.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience localizing marketing copy for global consumer brands in the French market; a portfolio or work samples covering website, advertising, or marketplace copy is required.
• 3–5 years of independently owning French-language content or localization modules, including planning, execution, and quality control.
• Ability to write long-form SEO content, short-form advertising copy, and structured product descriptions such as Amazon listings.
• Native or near-native French writing fluency, including the ability to identify cultural mismatches, tone issues, and terminology inconsistencies.
• Professional English proficiency for reading source briefs, joining cross-functional reviews, and communicating project status.
