Senior Manager, Claims Management (Workers' Compensation)

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation

What you will do

• Lead strategic business initiatives by identifying operational needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles.
• Oversee third-party claims managers, team leaders, and examiners to ensure consistent outcomes and service quality.
• Partner with the Director of Claims Management on claims strategy and portfolio execution.
• Evaluate disputed claims, coordinate with experts, and oversee accurate settlements or denials.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on company exposure and complex settlements, including leading legal roundtables and claim reviews.
• Analyze claims data and trends to implement strategies that improve efficiency, compliance, and risk management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in claims resolution, processing, and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation regulations in California, Texas, and Washington.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing, training, and mentoring teams.
• Expertise in project management and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience managing and influencing third-party administrator vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting claims trends and developing risk-mitigation strategies.
