CPC Processor I Customer Support

Location: Orangeburg, South Carolina, United States. Full-time onsite role. Availability is required for an 8.5-hour shift scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Salary: $15–$18.32 USD per hour

What you will do

• Answer release-of-information calls and respond accurately and promptly to customer inquiries.
• Research, resolve, and respond to requests received by telephone, email, and written correspondence.
• Document calls, inquiries, and resolutions in the appropriate software systems.
• Follow department and site procedures while meeting productivity and quality assurance expectations.
• Protect confidential information and maintain professional communication with colleagues and management.
• Attend required training and meetings and maintain reliable attendance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institute recognized by the State Department of Education.
• Professional communication style and strong customer service skills.
• Required experience with a multi-line phone system.
• Ability to stay organized while working quickly, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pass the annual introductory HIPAA examination and complete the 90-day ROI Certification course with a score of at least 85%.

Nice to have

• Intermediate or advanced MS Office proficiency and one year of related experience.
• Experience with data entry, medical records, healthcare, insurance claims processing, or proofreading and editing documents.
