What you will do

• Plan, execute, measure, and optimize strategic corporate communications for Canada.
• Serve on the affiliate Leadership Team as a senior strategic communications adviser supporting business priorities, corporate reputation, and market response.
• Deliver external communications, executive messaging, media relations, digital and social media, issues management, and internal communications.
• Collaborate with Brand, Value, Access & Pricing, Medical Affairs, Government Affairs, Human Resources, and other functions in a matrixed organization.
• Coordinate with the ELMAC Corporate Affairs team in Portugal, localizing regional materials and sharing Canadian insights.
• Support communications on pharmaceutical policy and ESG requirements while following local laws, regulations, processes, and hirify.global brand governance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 7 years, or professional degree plus 10 years, or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years in Business, Marketing, Communications, Strategy, Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people, leading teams, projects, or programs, or directing resource allocation.
• Professional fluency in English required to operate in a global context.

• Analytical capability in measurement, reporting, and insights-driven decision-making.
• Ability to work independently, lead in rapidly changing environments, and drive outcomes.

• Critical thinking, strategic planning, creative problem-solving, and compliant execution.
• Healthcare-sector experience and established media relationships in Canada.
