Intern, Media Engagement (Music)

Location: Liberty Village, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Part-time internship requiring at least four days per week in the office, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, up to 37.5 hours per week.

Compensation: Paid internship at $18.50/hour.

What you will do

• Compile and distribute daily media coverage reports covering key stories, sentiment, and engagement opportunities.
• Monitor, clip, and summarize press articles and media coverage related to hirify.global artists, campaigns, and industry trends.
• Upload press releases and media assets to the hirify.global Canada website and relevant platforms.
• Research new Canadian media opportunities, including emerging outlets, digital platforms, and creators.
• Maintain earned media records, media blurbs, inter-departmental documents, and the media contact list.
• Provide photos, biographies, press releases, and other materials; assist with ad hoc projects, events, and administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Completed or current post-secondary studies in Public Relations, Communications, or Music Business.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a professional attitude.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of Canadian media and outlets, with a general understanding of public relations.
• Strong writing abilities and experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Passion for music.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French.
