CNC Operator, Handles/Molding, 1st Shift (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Operate assigned CNC machines in the Handles Department to produce parts to mechanical drawing specifications.
• Measure, inspect, load, and unload parts, including visual inspection of small components with a microscope.
• Perform basic machine setups, changeovers, tooling changes, touch-offs, and dimensional offset adjustments.
• Complete quality control documentation, inspection sheets, travelers, and other required production records.
• Communicate production issues and inefficiencies while working with machine operators and management.
• Follow good manufacturing practices, SOPs, inspection procedures, safety regulations, and applicable compliance requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and visual inspection ability.
• Ability to perform basic CNC setups and job changeovers and adjust tooling and parts to print specifications.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, multitask, and collaborate effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; regularly lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Intermediate mathematics skills, including geometric and trigonometric formulas.
