Senior Contracts Manager

Location: Hybrid in Redwood City, California; in-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Candidates must currently live within reasonable commuting distance of the Bay Area headquarters.

What you will do

• Own the Linksquares CLM platform, including implementation, administration, configuration, user management, reporting, and optimization.
• Design and improve contract processes, workflows, playbooks, templates, clause libraries, and self-service legal resources.
• Draft, review, redline, and independently negotiate commercial, government, vendor, customer, SaaS, partnership, and NDA agreements.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Operations, and Compliance to support deals, RFPs, due diligence, and contract approvals.
• Identify and escalate contractual risks while maintaining organized legal records, repositories, and executed agreements.
• Develop legal operations strategies, evaluate legal technology, triage requests, track work, and train internal teams on contract processes and tools.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in contracts management, commercial legal operations, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience administering and configuring a CLM platform; Linksquares experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage commercial contract negotiations from kickoff through execution.
• Experience building contract processes, workflows, and systems from scratch.
• Strong stakeholder management, organizational, prioritization, and risk assessment skills in a high-volume environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or paralegal certification is a plus.

• Experience implementing AI-powered tools or integrations within a CLM environment.
• Background in a high-growth technology or startup environment.
• Experience with public sector, transportation, or education-related contracts.
• Experience scaling a contracts function and knowledge of data privacy frameworks and compliance requirements.
