Senior Platform Operations Engineer (AI/SaaS)

Location: New York City; on-site, with in-person work required 4–5 days per week

Salary: $175,000–$225,000 per year, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional technical projects across Engineering, Product, Data, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing.
• Own, optimize, and extend product and proprietary business operations systems to support rapid organizational growth.
• Discover stakeholder and customer needs to improve automation, AI-enabled user experiences, analytics, and workflow scalability.
• Continuously ship features and improvements in a production engineering environment deploying more than 100 times per day.
• Evaluate, select, and tune technologies, and design custom solutions when market offerings do not meet business requirements.
• Balance speed and quality while solving complex operational and technical problems independently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building and scaling technical solutions, including proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of system design and scalable architecture principles.
• Experience working cross-functionally and translating technical concepts into actionable insights.
• Startup mindset with ownership, urgency, pragmatism, and a bias for action.
• Ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance.
• Willingness to work in person at the New York City offices 4–5 days per week.

Nice to have

• Platform architecture and analytics experience in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in client-facing roles.
• Understanding of SaaS metrics, strategies, and lifecycle management.
