Full Stack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: San Francisco, Washington, D.C., New York City, or remote within the USA

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Make key technical and business decisions for banking and investment systems.
• Build user interfaces with React and backends with Node and GraphQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and communicate technical tradeoffs.
• Architect scalable solutions that support long-term technical sustainability.
• Own the full lifecycle of Autopilot technology, including planning, development, maintenance, and optimization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with some combination of Node, JavaScript, React or React Native, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL or a similar relational database.
• Understanding of observability and experience investigating performance and user experience issues.
• Ability to understand vendor integration challenges and resolve related issues.
• Ability to work through complex problems and take ownership of solutions.
• Strong interest in understanding the broader user and business impact of software.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Interest in teaching others and supporting engineering growth.
