Senior Software Engineer, Agentic AI

Location: Remote within the United States; preference for candidates based in Pacific Time Zone locations.

Salary: $185,000–$215,000 base salary, plus bonus or variable compensation, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build planning and execution systems for safe, multi-step infrastructure operations across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and other platforms.
• Design tool interfaces and context systems that help Neo understand cloud resources, customer infrastructure patterns, and engineering workflows.
• Create feedback loops, self-correction mechanisms, evaluation frameworks, and benchmarks for reliable autonomous operation.
• Develop the web experience for task assignment, progress visibility, reasoning, and approval workflows.
• Integrate Neo with hirify.global's MCP Server and collaborate with platform teams on CLI, SDK, and hirify.global Cloud integrations.

Requirements

• Production experience building systems with LLMs, including skill design, tool use, function calling, and multi-step orchestration.
• Strong Python and TypeScript skills.
• Experience designing reliable and safe AI systems that take real-world actions.
• Ability to work across agent orchestration, backend services, and frontend interfaces.
• Product mindset, clear communication, and ability to work with a distributed team.
• Ability to work remotely from within the United States; Pacific Time Zone location is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, infrastructure-as-code, developer tools, CLIs, or platform engineering.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience building AI evaluation frameworks and benchmarks.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, MCP, or retrieval-augmented generation.
