Salary: $136,800–$167,200 annually for candidates working in San Diego; ranges may vary by state.

What you will do

  • Act as the lead field-based clinical and technical expert across assigned sites, providing guidance on neurosurgical workflows, protocol execution, and complex case management.
  • Lead site onboarding, advanced training, and capability development for investigators, surgeons, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Drive pre-case readiness across scheduling, staffing, materials, imaging coordination, and procedural flow.
  • Provide onsite support during complex neurosurgical procedures, resolving workflow deviations and protocol-related issues in real time.
  • Strengthen patient safety, data integrity, documentation, and investigational product handling practices across clinical sites.
  • Translate field insights into scalable surgical delivery models, training programs, site readiness processes, and trial expansion strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, nursing, neuroscience, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in field clinical support, surgical support, clinical applications, or trial-facing procedural roles.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with high-acuity neurosurgical or interventional procedures, preferably cranial, stereotactic, or intracranial delivery workflows.
  • Experience in regulated clinical trial environments, including GCP, protocol adherence, SOPs, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience with early-phase or first-in-human studies, MRI-guided workflows, advanced cell or gene therapy delivery, or development of field procedures and training programs.
  • Must have valid U.S. work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship now or in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.
