Senior Technical Program Manager – Fleet Operations & Reliability

Location: New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; or Bellevue, WA

Salary: $157,000–$210,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own fleet-wide reliability and operations programs across compute, networking, data center, and operations teams.
• Establish reliability metrics and dashboards covering failure rates, MTTR, incidents, capacity availability, and utilization.
• Align engineering and operations teams on reliability OKRs, program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria.
• Identify systemic gaps across hardware, firmware, software, networking, storage, and operational processes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve fleet delivery, readiness, and stability as infrastructure scales.
• Coordinate incident reviews, root cause analysis, corrective actions, stakeholder reporting, and executive communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of technical program management experience in large-scale compute infrastructure, cloud, or platform environments.
• Experience operating in rapidly growing infrastructure environments and designing programs that remain effective through significant fleet expansion.
• Strong technical aptitude across compute, storage, networking, hardware, or SRE domains.
• Experience using data and metrics to guide prioritization, execution, and decision-making.
• Must work from one of the listed U.S. locations and meet applicable U.S. export-control access requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale environments and balancing reliability investments against sellable capacity.
• Familiarity with SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with hardware failure diagnosis, vendor coordination, and replacement lifecycle management.
• Background in observability, monitoring, or telemetry systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience managing fleet provisioning, firmware and operating system updates, and decommissioning at scale.
