Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) (FinSaaS)

Location: Phoenix, AZ; primarily onsite. Core collaboration hours are 10 AM–3 PM, with flexibility to manage the remainder of the schedule.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using C# within a .NET ecosystem.
• Develop functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests for Angular web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Integrate test automation into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and drive shift-left quality practices.
• Partner with developers, product managers, and designers to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies.
• Validate data integrity and business logic using SQL and database testing techniques.
• Improve test coverage, execution time, reliability, test data management, and test environments while supporting defect resolution and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in test automation or SDET roles.
• Strong programming skills in C# and .NET.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress with C# bindings, plus hands-on testing of Angular applications.
• Experience with REST and JSON API testing, SQL, database validation, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
