Visual Communications Designer

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; hybrid model with time split between the office and working from home.

Salary: $83,100–$141,300 USD per year base pay, with potential discretionary bonus and equity component.

What you will do

• Design high-impact PowerPoint presentations for executive, leadership, and client-facing audiences.
• Translate complex concepts, strategies, narratives, data, and technical information into clear visual stories.
• Partner with executives, marketers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to clarify objectives and guide visual solutions.
• Develop presentation templates, visual systems, slide libraries, and reusable design assets.
• Maintain brand consistency, visual quality, accuracy, and presentation readiness.
• Improve presentation workflows while balancing speed and quality in deadline-driven environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent experience.
• 6–9+ years of visual design experience with a strong emphasis on presentation design.
• Advanced expertise in PowerPoint as a design and storytelling tool.
• Strong command of typography, layout, color, and information design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, including integrating assets into presentations.
• Proven experience working with executive or senior leadership stakeholders and a portfolio demonstrating presentation design and executive communications.
