Summer Internship - Customer Line Operations & Shop Floor Control (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in the Mobile, Alabama metro area; interns must be willing to live there temporarily during the internship.

hirify.global manufactures commercial aircraft, including the A220 and A320 Family, at its U.S. manufacturing facility in Mobile.

What you will do

• Support flight test operations, flightline safety, tool management, consumables, GSE maintenance, and facilities requests.
• Maintain shop floor control routines and manage SAP and CnB ordering and follow-up.
• Support project managers with XLR, A320 Airline, A220 Road to 150, and digital tool implementation projects.
• Assist with AOP resource planning, OPEX planning, competency gap assessments, and AOS brick deployment.
• Work with a mentor to solve real-world aviation manufacturing problems and support continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at least at the undergraduate level in an applicable program at an accredited university.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Must be willing to temporarily live in the Mobile, Alabama metro area.
• English communication skills are required, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with G Suite and Microsoft applications, plus strong knowledge of technical terminology.
• Ability to work in production areas, walk around flightlines and airstrips, stand for extended periods, and occasionally lift or carry up to 30 lb (14 kg).

• Fluency in French or German.
