Senior Philanthropy Program Officer (Fundraising)

Location: Fully remote, with 0–1 onsite days per week at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, Massachusetts. Remote work is limited to candidates working from a New England state: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island. Local or domestic travel and occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

Salary: $72,800–$78,200 per year

What you will do

• Cultivate, solicit, and manage portfolios of donors, prospects, volunteers, and external partners.
• Recruit, activate, and steward volunteer Event Managers who organize community fundraising events.
• Develop fundraising, donor engagement, stewardship, marketing, and communication strategies.
• Oversee community events and partnerships, including recruitment, logistics, participant support, and event execution.
• Collaborate with Annual Giving, Jimmy Fund, Major Gifts, Planned Giving, and Operations teams.
• Track event and donor data, prepare reports, mentor junior staff, and lead special projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven fundraising experience, including donor visits, solicitations, and relationship building.
• Advanced written and verbal communication, proofreading, presentation, and public-speaking skills.
• Ability to tailor communications for donors, volunteers, leadership, and other audiences.
• Ability to work remotely from a New England state and attend the Brookline location occasionally.
