Total Rewards Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Houston, United States; generally an office environment. Access to export-controlled technical data may require additional U.S. export-control screening under NASA regulations, ITAR, or EAR. Evening and weekend work may be required for critical project milestones.

What you will do

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, open enrollment, orientations, audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Coordinate with benefits vendors, insurers, payroll, HR partners, and employees to resolve benefit issues and maintain compliant programs.
• Support leave-of-absence administration, documentation, employee guidance, and timely coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Support compensation benchmarking, market pricing, salary recommendations, merit reviews, and compensation reporting.
• Maintain and validate Workday HCM Core, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, job, and position data.
• Improve employee communications, data accuracy, processes, and the overall Total Rewards experience while handling confidential information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with employee benefits administration, compensation analysis, leave administration, HR data, and reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively, provide high customer service, maintain confidentiality, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organization, judgment, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Eligibility for required U.S. export-control screening is a condition of employment if access to controlled data or technology is required.

• Knowledge of Workday.
• Certified Compensation Professional or Human Resources Professional certification.
