Total Rewards Specialist (Benefits and Compensation): Administering employee benefits, absence programs, compensation processes, and Workday data for a complex aerospace organization with an accent on benefits operations, compliance, employee support, and compensation analysis. Focus on maintaining accurate HR data, coordinating vendors and stakeholders, and supporting annual enrollment, leave administration, and compensation reviews.
Location: Houston, United States; generally an office environment. Access to export-controlled technical data may require additional U.S. export-control screening under NASA regulations, ITAR, or EAR. Evening and weekend work may be required for critical project milestones.

What you will do
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, open enrollment, orientations, audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors, insurers, payroll, HR partners, and employees to resolve benefit issues and maintain compliant programs.
- Support leave-of-absence administration, documentation, employee guidance, and timely coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Support compensation benchmarking, market pricing, salary recommendations, merit reviews, and compensation reporting.
- Maintain and validate Workday HCM Core, Benefits, Compensation, Absence, job, and position data.
- Improve employee communications, data accuracy, processes, and the overall Total Rewards experience while handling confidential information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with employee benefits administration, compensation analysis, leave administration, HR data, and reporting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, provide high customer service, maintain confidentiality, and work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organization, judgment, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Eligibility for required U.S. export-control screening is a condition of employment if access to controlled data or technology is required.

- Knowledge of Workday.
- Certified Compensation Professional or Human Resources Professional certification.
