Software Development Engineer, AWS S3 (Rust)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance client software for hirify.global S3.
• Work with customers and product managers to translate data access requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews, testing, deployment, and operational support.
• Debug and optimize distributed systems, Kubernetes integrations, Rust code, and file system implementations.
• Collaborate on open-source projects across multiple programming languages and document system architecture and operations.

Requirements

• Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers.
• Professional programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across coding, architecture, source control, continuous deployment, testing, and operations.
• Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle practices, build processes, testing, and operations.
