Sr Attorney (EPC)

Location: The Woodlands, Texas, United States; occasional travel to project sites and company offices is required.

Provides integrated storage and asset-management solutions through storage systems and asset operations services across the facility lifecycle.

What you will do

• Review requests for proposals and quotations, prepare contract deviations, and negotiate engineering services and EPC agreements.
• Draft and negotiate MOUs, letters of intent, pre-bid agreements, confidentiality agreements, guarantees, and other ancillary contracts.
• Advise sales, supply chain, operations, finance, engineering, and project management teams on commercial and legal matters.
• Manage contractual risks, governing-law issues, change orders, claims, disputes, and project closeout activities.
• Support procurement contracts, purchase orders, corporate housekeeping, real estate agreements, and country entry or exit activities.
• Provide guidance and training on compliance and regulatory matters, coordinating with outside and compliance counsel when needed.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state and in the relevant area of remit.
• Juris Doctorate.
• 5–10 years of legal experience, including at least 5 years reviewing and negotiating EPC contracts.
• Experience in the energy sector is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, business-partnering, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and build credibility with senior management.
