What you will do
- Negotiate and structure complex construction, design-build, EPC, engineering, general contracting, and subcontracting agreements.
- Advise on project risks, contract strategy, claims, change orders, and dispute resolution.
- Guide major projects from pursuit and procurement through execution and closeout.
- Provide practical, business-focused legal counsel to executives, engineers, project leaders, operations teams, and affiliated organizations.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Current license to practice law before the Bar of at least one US state.
- 5–8 years of legal experience.
- Initiative, decisive judgment, independence, confidentiality, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent persuasion, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; construction law experience is strongly preferred.
