Associate Rotating Technician (2nd Shift)

Location: DeSoto, Texas; onsite five days a week

What you will do

• Assemble Solar’s small-body rotating turbomachinery components according to safety, quality, production, and cost standards.
• Follow standard work instructions, engineering drawings, oral instructions, and established shop practices.
• Use precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools, shop equipment, machinery, test equipment, and inspection equipment.
• Perform rework, material routing and movement, component inspections, and assembly or repair documentation.
• Identify quality or procedural issues, escalate for Engineering support, and collaborate on technical problem solving.
• Support safety improvements, 5S practices, training records, team meetings, production needs, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the hirify.global manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn all operations and models within the small-body rotating value stream.
• Proficient use of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, drop micrometers, and bore micrometers.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as well as shop tools and machinery.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, self-direction, and the ability to balance concurrent tasks while communicating risks and progress.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week and work required hours to meet production and customer needs.
