Personal Production Assistant (Mortgage Banking)

What you will do

• Provide administrative support to the mortgage retail sales department and high-producing mortgage loan officers.
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and maintain relationship documentation.
• Enter loan application data, collect documentation, resolve discrepancies, and prepare files for meetings and presentations.
• Order and review titles and appraisals, prepare files for underwriting and validation, and send validated files to Corporate Underwriting.
• Close loans and maintain compliance with Huntington and investor guidelines.
• Research and resolve complex account and operational issues while advising clients on bank products and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in a sales support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• PC and internet proficiency, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States.
• Registration and additional qualifications are required because the role is considered a Mortgage Loan Originator under the SAFE Act and a Loan Originator under the Truth in Lending Act.
