Asset Servicing, Senior Associate (Fintech)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's Global HQ in St. Petersburg, Florida, United States

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Own one or more clearing and asset servicing domains, including trading, cash and stock operations, options and OCC operations, corporate actions, security master, account transfers, and trade reporting.
• Oversee trade settlement, trade break resolution, margin calls, journals, dividends, ACATS, statements, confirmations, proxy delivery, and position and cash reconciliations.
• Develop desk procedures, controls, operating standards, and best practices for omnibus clearing processes.
• Act as the operational contact for the introducing broker-dealer, triaging issues, assessing impacts, and coordinating resolution.
• Analyze errors, trends, exceptions, and control gaps to identify root causes and process improvements.
• Translate operational requirements into technical specifications and partner with Development and Technology on enhancements, testing, UAT, and production readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in brokerage, clearing, settlement, or asset servicing operations.
• Experience in a clearing omnibus or self-clearing environment and within a retail broker-dealer.
• Working knowledge of options clearing and OCC processes, including exercises, assignments, expirations, and position settlement.
• Strong understanding of brokerage, clearing, settlement, asset servicing, DTCC, and post-trade regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Broadridge, Penson/Apex, FIS, or similar clearing and brokerage platforms.

Nice to have

• Series 7 or Series 99 license, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• Experience leading initiatives, improving processes and controls, automating manual work, and managing operational projects.
• Ability to collaborate across Operations, Technology, Product, and other stakeholder groups.
