Technical Accounting Senior Manager (AI)

Location: New York City, United States. Hybrid work model with an in-office expectation of 3–4 days per week.

Base salary: $180,000–$205,000 a year. Equity included.

hirify.global is an agentic law company that develops proprietary no-code software for building and supervising domain-specific AI agents used by major institutions.

What you will do

• Own complex technical accounting matters and prepare technical accounting memoranda and position papers under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead monthly and annual close activities, including review of reconciliations, journal entries, disclosures, and financial reporting.
• Manage the outsourced bookkeeping team and improve review, escalation, and service processes.
• Lead accounting for intercompany transactions, transfer pricing, consolidations, eliminations, and international operations.
• Build and improve scalable accounting policies, processes, internal controls, and close procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, Finance, and business stakeholders on accounting, audit, tax, and cross-border matters.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with substantial technical accounting, financial reporting, or controllership responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to research, document, and communicate complex accounting conclusions.
• Experience working directly with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Strong analytical, project-management, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Demonstrated hands-on use of AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to automate tasks and improve workflows while maintaining accuracy.
