Senior Product Analyst (PowerFAIDS)

Location: Remote - USA; fully remote or hybrid for candidates living near hirify.global offices, with occasional business travel required. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $56,000–$95,000 annually, adjusted based on location, experience, qualifications, and market data.

What you will do

• Document PowerFAIDS system functionality, workflows, business rules, process maps, data flows, and configuration details.
• Create and maintain internal documentation for existing and new product features in collaboration with product leads, engineers, and subject matter experts.
• Draft user stories and acceptance criteria, support prioritized backlogs, and participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Perform user acceptance testing, document test cases, report defects, and follow up on resolution with QA and product leads.
• Provide backup support for product leads and synthesize insights from customer meetings, feedback sessions, and demonstrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience across financial aid administration, Title IV regulations, Financial Aid Management System implementation, customization, configuration, or testing, including PowerFAIDS experience.
• Ability to research Title IV requirements and interpret resources such as the Federal Student Aid Handbook and Dear Colleague Letters.
• Experience designing and documenting processes using flowcharts or procedure documents.
• Strong verbal communication, writing, editing, and grammar skills, with the ability to complete complex work on short deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience reading and writing SQL.
• Basic understanding of APIs and how database joins affect report writing.
