Senior Developer-Python (Test Automation)

What you will do

• Write and maintain clean Python software from design through delivery.
• Build automated lab test software for regression, characterization, and related tooling.
• Clean, preprocess, and analyze large test datasets to identify trends, outliers, and patterns.
• Visualize results in Kibana and similar tools and communicate findings to technical stakeholders.
• Ingest and store test results in Elasticsearch and relational databases.
• Debug test software, lab runs, and data pipelines; review code and document setups and results.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation, lab or hardware software, or data pipelines, with strong Python skills.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills in Python.
• Experience controlling lab equipment and devices under test through gRPC, serial communication, or similar interfaces.
• Experience analyzing and visualizing complex datasets such as logs, CSVs, and datalogs.
• Hands-on Elasticsearch and Kibana experience, including ingestion, querying, and dashboard building.
• Experience with relational databases, Git, and Linux environments, plus clear technical communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Jenkins or similar CI tools.
• Ability to read C/C++ code near firmware or hardware layers.
• pandas, NumPy, or matplotlib experience.
• Docker, AWS, Azure, or GCP familiarity.
• Perforce and Agile experience; basic HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for reports.
