Localization Ops Specialist (Romanian)

What you will do

• Perform publishing, assessment, and quality-enhancement tasks for content in the Prime Video catalogue.
• Apply advanced Romanian language knowledge and follow standard operating procedures to meet quality metrics.
• Execute small-scale projects or assigned components of larger process-improvement projects.
• Manage escalations for routine and predefined tasks.
• Create or correct subtitles, metadata, artwork, and other media assets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support complete, accurate, defect-free, and on-time content publishing.

Requirements

• Fluent English in speaking, writing, and reading, including the ability to take direction in English.
• Fluency in Romanian with understanding of region-specific jargon and colloquialisms; C1 level required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and provide insights while working with creative content.

Nice to have

• Educational background in foreign languages, translation studies, or linguistics, or equivalent localization or subtitling experience.
• Understanding of digital media or the digital video supply chain.
• Experience in the post-house or studio industry in content publishing or quality management.
