Shipping and Receiving Lead (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, CA, United States; on-site. Applicants must meet U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements.

Salary: $60K–$90K annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead daily inbound receiving, storage workflows, outbound shipping, and fulfillment operations.
• Supervise warehouse staff and maintain accurate SKU tracking, physical counts, and inventory reconciliation.
• Roll out and improve smart warehouse systems using barcode scanning, digital location mapping, and real-time NetSuite tracking.
• Verify bills of lading, packing lists, and manifests while maintaining OSHA safety and shipping compliance.
• Coordinate LTL, FTL, and parcel carriers, including pickup scheduling, routing, and freight claims.
• Package finished goods through boxing, crating, and other logistics operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse management, logistics, or manufacturing, including leadership and complex problem-solving.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage high-mix electronic component inventory with full traceability and operate automated storage and dispensing systems.
• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in supply chain or business is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when assisting floor operations.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with low-mix/high-volume production and high-mix/low-volume rapid prototyping.
• Experience managing aerospace or defense material records and AS9100 documentation and traceability standards.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or business.
