Strategy Insights & Planning Consultant - AI Transformation Intern (North America - University Students)

Location: Princeton, New Jersey, United States. Hybrid work combines working from home with on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices for most of the week. Client-facing travel is required as project needs dictate.

What you will do

• Lead workstreams and project teams across multiple consulting engagements.
• Partner with senior client stakeholders to identify business challenges and define opportunities.
• Develop AI and digital transformation strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative research on market trends, customer needs, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes.
• Structure ambiguous business problems and develop actionable recommendations using hypothesis-driven problem solving.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and technology teams to shape AI solutions, lead client workshops, and present recommendations to executive audiences.

Requirements

• Currently in the first year of an MBA program.
• Bachelor’s degree, and often a graduate degree, in business, economics, marketing, psychology, physical or life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of pre-MBA work experience, including client-facing project leadership and stakeholder relationship management.
• Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, machine learning, emerging digital technologies, and their business applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, structured thinking, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship are required.
