Tech Strategy Analyst I (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid arrangement with two days per week on-site in Chicago. Occasional travel is required.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year, plus potential incentive compensation and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Support governance and operational effectiveness initiatives across the technology organization.
• Research and analyze organizational pain points, inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop solutions with team members and leaders and execute plans to resolve identified issues.
• Translate strategic priorities into concrete actions, milestones, and measurable goals.
• Prepare strategy documents, leadership presentations, Monthly Business Reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Track strategic initiatives and conduct data analysis to produce actionable insights for decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in business, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, economics, MIS, or a related field; relevant certifications or bootcamp completion may also be considered.
• 2–4 years of related experience, ideally in financial services or technology.
• Understanding of banking products, services, industry regulations, core systems, and processes.
• Ability to analyze risks, support mitigation strategies, assist with compliance reporting, and collaborate with Compliance and Audit teams.
• Strong data analysis, communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency.
