Senior UX Researcher

Location: Hybrid, with on-site work 2–3 days per week in Bethesda, MD; Palo Alto, CA; or Seattle, WA.

Annual salary: $109,675.00–$172,200.00.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify research opportunities and execute studies.
• Lead the full user research process, including recruitment, study design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative methods such as usability testing, surveys, interviews, and competitive analysis.
• Analyze data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights for product and design decisions.
• Present findings through reports, presentations, and interactive workshops.
• Improve research practices by evaluating new methodologies, tools, and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of UX research experience, or 3+ years with a master’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and ethnographic research.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
