What you will do

• Own the Shark Robots category strategy and multi-year roadmap from white-space identification through mass production.
• Build, lead, coach, and develop managers and product developers, including hiring and succession planning.
• Define product specifications, design targets, performance standards, and quality expectations across the category.
• Translate consumer insights and testing findings into portfolio-level design and roadmap decisions.
• Own category cost structure, margin performance, sourcing strategy, budget, and resource allocation.
• Oversee go-to-market strategy, instructional materials, post-purchase support content, and executive-facing strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product development, robotics, human factors, or a related field.
• Experience owning a product category or portfolio; consumer goods or robotics experience is preferred.
• Experience building and managing teams of managers or senior individual contributors.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, management, or engineering.
• Strong consumer judgment, strategic and project management skills, executive communication, and problem-solving ability.
• Experience making P&L-level trade-offs and managing priorities across multiple programs and teams.
