Construction Finance Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA; 100% in-office during standard business hours. Remote work is not available.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Track project budgets, committed costs, and change orders throughout construction and development project lifecycles.
• Prepare and process construction draw requests while coordinating documentation with project managers, lenders, and general contractors.
• Support monthly job cost reporting, budget-to-actual variance analysis, and project financial status reporting.
• Reconcile construction invoices, retainage, and lien waiver documentation.
• Coordinate with Development, Construction Management, and Property Accounting teams to maintain accurate cost tracking.
• Maintain organized project finance files for audits and lender reviews and perform ad hoc financial analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction finance, real estate finance, or project accounting.
• Working knowledge of construction draw processes and job cost accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Occasional travel to construction sites or project meetings may be required.
