Senior Account Director (Social Media)

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

What you will do

• Oversee the successful delivery of all activity across allocated client accounts.
• Build client relationships, support retention, and identify opportunities to increase account scope.
• Lead crisis management, provide solutions, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Manage project budgets and allocate resources according to briefs, rate cards, and agreed scopes.
• Set and regularly review account strategies with the internal strategy team while coordinating work across agency departments.
• Lead new business pitch processes and line-manage team members, supporting their career development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Account Director or Account Director in a social-first or creative agency.
• Experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including timelines, budgets, documentation, and execution.
• Strong client relationship-building and strategic partnership skills.
• Inspiring, supportive, and hands-on team leadership experience.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and allocate internal resources efficiently.
• Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and cultural moments.

• B2B and B2C experience.
