Translator/Editor (TCG)

Location: Berlin, Germany; presence in Berlin is required. Part-time office role with a hybrid working model.

What you will do

• Translate and localize marketing content across French, German, Spanish, and Italian markets.
• Transcreate English copy while preserving its intent, tone, emotional impact, key messages, and brand values.
• Maintain consistent official game, product, and card terminology in cooperation with Marketing, Games Management, and Support.
• Adapt paid marketing and digital content to character limits, formatting requirements, and local market expectations.
• Translate and localize user interface elements to support a consistent multilingual experience.
• Coordinate with Marketing teams and support stakeholders on localization and content initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a translator.
• Fluent English plus at least two of French, German, Spanish, or Italian.
• Excellent written communication, grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
• Strong understanding of trading card game terminology and localization best practices.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, tone, and context, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and quick turnaround times independently.
• Required presence in Berlin, Germany.

Nice to have

• Professional translation certification or accreditation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience or active participation in the trading card game community.
