Intern - Technical Production Operations Engineer (Financial Services)

Location: On-site in Wakefield, Massachusetts, United States. Shift options are 4:00 AM–12:00 PM EST or 12:00 PM–8:00 PM EST, with potential evening and early-morning work as part of a 24/7 support team.

Salary: $19–$22 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Monitor and support automated batch processing jobs.
• Assist senior team members with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Document technical procedures and maintain knowledge bases.
• Escalate issues and collaborate with technical teams and internal departments.
• Communicate with internal teams, manage client expectations, and support customer service.
• Contribute to proactive issue prevention and refinement of support documentation.

Requirements

• Interest in technical operations and enterprise software support.
• Knowledge, understanding, or interest in the financial sector.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Creative, resourceful problem-solving and sound judgment.
• Progress toward a BA or BS degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Windows, SQL, or Dynatrace.
• Progress toward a BS degree in Finance or Computer Science.
