What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and repair mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, HVAC, and control systems.
• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance to keep building machinery and systems operating reliably and within design capabilities.
• Maintain an energy management program and improve the efficiency of building systems.
• Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing, and other building systems for compliance with client-prescribed environmental conditions and applicable standards.
• Follow building codes, safety regulations, hazardous-material procedures, and company policies.
• Apply engineering principles to complex assignments, provide solutions, coach colleagues, and support related teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 pounds or more.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to analyze information from multiple sources, exercise judgment, and develop new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Strong organizational, inquisitive, and mathematical skills.
• Required certifications or licenses may vary by local or state jurisdiction.

Nice to have

• Universal CFC certification.
• Prior shift-management or supervisory experience.
