Associate Technician, Production Operations (Grade 3) Swing Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in O'Callaghan's Mills, County Clare, Ireland, just outside Tulla. Swing shift with alternating weekly schedules: Week 1, 8:00–16:00 Monday–Thursday and 8:00–15:00 Friday; Week 2, 16:00–00:00 Monday–Thursday and 15:00–22:00 Friday.

What you will do

• Set up, operate, and maintain automatic or semiautomatic machines and related production equipment after training.
• Clean equipment and machinery according to established procedures.
• Fill, label, pack, and inspect finished products in line with the training plan.
• Perform operations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality System Regulations.
• Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation.
• Support changes to processes, machinery layouts, production techniques, equipment, and procedures.

Requirements

• Leaving Certificate.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, including a full shift, with reasonable accommodation considered where appropriate.
• Ability to operate manual and automated equipment and work around moving machinery.
• Ability to read SOPs, batch records, and specifications.
• Visual acuity to inspect components and detect defects.
• Ability to work in manufacturing conditions involving machinery noise, controlled environments such as cleanrooms, and PPE including gloves, safety glasses, gowns, and respirators where applicable.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a manufacturing operations role using problem-solving tools as part of a team.
• Knowledge and experience of GMP in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
