What you will do
- Supervise, coordinate, coach, and develop assigned quality professionals.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and execute a multi-year plan advancing quality from control to assurance and excellence.
- Prioritize inspection activities and direct inspection and testing procedures for materials, facilities, and products.
- Gather and analyze product data to reduce defect potential and present quality metrics to senior management and external customers.
- Develop inspection sampling plans based on supplier performance and support supplier quality issue resolution.
- Manage process and quality-system audits, including ISO and internal audits, and deploy standardized quality tools and methodologies.
Requirements
- Experience supervising and coordinating quality personnel.
- Ability to manage quality resources within budget and staffing parameters.
- Experience with inspection, testing, quality procedures, and supplier quality management.
- Knowledge of measurement system analysis, including MSA and GR&R, and quality-system audits.
- Ability to analyze product data, communicate quality metrics, and work with sourcing, purchasing, corporate quality, and customer stakeholders.
