Cybersecurity Implementation Engineer (DTEX)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end deployment of the DTEX platform across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints with DTEX subject-matter experts.
• Design and execute silent, scalable deployments using Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Ansible while protecting host performance.
• Document network paths, firewall rules, proxy and TLS inspection exceptions, and submit firewall change requests through the VA change process.
• Coordinate allowlisting and antivirus/EDR exclusions, including CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender.
• Implement DTEX privacy-by-design masking and anonymization to support GDPR, HIPAA, and internal privacy requirements.
• Integrate DTEX telemetry and alerts with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic, and SOAR platforms through REST APIs and webhooks; monitor agent health and lead troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience implementing cybersecurity software tools, preferably in a federal environment.
• Strong understanding of UEBA tools and their configuration.
• Experience with Agile methods and frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Jira, and Microsoft 365/Teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, planning, organizational, leadership, and collaboration skills.

• Master’s degree.
