Location: Reston, Virginia, USA; may require onsite work at client locations in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. The role combines in-person and remote work, with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field.
Annual base salary: $184,800–$277,200 for the primary location; $167,200–$300,000 for additional U.S. locations.

What you will do
- Build cybersecurity capabilities for an air-gapped classified cloud environment supporting U.S. Government customers.
- Perform vulnerability management, incident response, threat hunting, and threat detection.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage systems in AWS or Microsoft Top Secret clouds.
- Develop and maintain investigation and response tools, SIEM and SOAR solutions, and detection capabilities.
- Coordinate with customers and cyber defense teams to maintain consistency and develop security best practices across environments.
- Provide technical leadership while managing operational responsibilities and multiple priorities.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required because the role supports U.S. Federal Government contracts.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance at the TS/SCI with CI Poly level is required; an active clearance is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in technical security consultancy, security operations, response, vulnerability management, threat detection, or threat hunting.
- 2+ years of hands-on technical leadership experience.
- Experience with AWS or Microsoft Top Secret clouds, vulnerability scanning, platform security, application security, and cloud security.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with containerized applications and container security.
- Knowledge of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures, network and application threats, and mitigation strategies.
- DoD 8570/8140 compliance with at least IAT Level II certification, a current Computing Environment credential, and an approved specialty certification such as CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, or CASP+.
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
