Location: San Antonio, TX; 100% onsite at the San Antonio office

What you will do

• Shoot and edit breaking news stories, special assignments, and other events for live and recorded TV productions.
• Edit material to script using non-linear computer-based editing software from the facility or field locations.
• Provide photographs and short videos for social media platforms.
• Set up and operate microwave ENG trucks and LiveU equipment.
• Operate news vehicles and maintain assigned equipment, including routine maintenance and light troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with reporters, producers, assignment desk editors, video editors, photographers, engineering, and production departments.

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• At least 2 years of experience as a news photographer in a TV news or similar environment.
• High school diploma required; education or training in journalism, radio/television, production/ENG, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be willing to work from the office in San Antonio, TX.
• Must have a Texas driver license, a clean driving record, and unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, severe weather, and to lift approximately 50 pounds of broadcast equipment.
